Meet Our Staff
Dr. Leon Klusmeyer
Dr. Klusmeyer received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, majoring in Biology, with a Chemistry minor. He also received a second Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology and his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard , Illinois (now known as National University of Health Sciences).
 
Dr. Klusmeyer has a certification in Chiropractic Rehabilitation and advanced training in diagnostic imaging. He is currently working towards completion of a three-year Diplomate certification with the American Chiropractic Rehabilitation Board.
 
Dr. Klusmeyer is a member of the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association, American Chiropractic Association, Foundation of Chiropractic Education and Research, American Chiropractic Rehabilitation Board, and the National University of Health Sciences Alumunus Association.
 
Dr. Klusmeyer enjoys the challenges of treating a wide variety of patients from infants to the elderly. In particular, he likes to treat herniated discs, sciatica, shoulder conditions, ankle/foot conditions, temporomandibular joint syndrome (TMJ), and carpal tunnel syndrome.
 
Dr. Klusmeyer realizes the importance of patient education and places an emphasis on teaching self-management skills. These skills empower the patient to gain personal control over their conditions. They also help to improve the healing response, limit recurrences, and decrease the need to rely on medications and other “crutches”. These skills include integrating rehabilitative exercises, addressing posture, nutrition, and various other avenues toward optimum health.
 
Dr. Klusmeyer enjoys spending time with his wife, Patti, and two daughters, Rachel and Rebecca. He enjoys many outdoor activities including camping and takes pride in his well-groomed lawn.
